Hillary Clinton certainly did something for women that hasn't been done before. She gave us an image, someone to look up to but what of Sarah Palin? She didn't put the effort that Hillary did to get where she is, the VP spot in McCain's ticket. In her acceptance speech Palin naively declared that she admired Hillary's efforts to put those 18 million cracks in the ceiling and hoped to shatter it? Exactly how though? She's a VP nominee which is picked not elected... No one voted for her. Something smells fishy here... and the stench is flowing over levees from McCain. Palin who's foreign policy experience includes going to three countries in her entire life one of which is Ireland which her plane stopped to re-fuel at the airport and the other two where brief visits to see the troops in EUROPEAN bases... sounds dangerous huh? She only got her passport last year! McCain's choice was an obvious ploy to try to reign in the "women vote," the "feminist vote" and conservatives at the same but feminists and conservatives never seemed to go hand in hand in my opinion. His pick also says to those feminists "hey I know you're angry about Hillary, I know you're too angry to think straight so here's a bone and an excuse to get revenge for her." Whats even more amazing is that Palin doesn't seem to know that her entire role in this sad spectacle is to be a woman and simply that. Just be a woman Palin! Well this morning she actually made a statement ON CAMERA that she's still waiting for someone to tell her what a VP actually does!!!!! WTF!!!! GRRRRR!!!! Well usually in the Republican's case a VP usually controls the mind of the President to further the agenda of the conservative Republican sect. But Palin is a women and GOD forbid a woman be able to have as much power as Cheney.
Palin seems uncorrupted now because she's never lived and breathed Washington but now that she's embroiled in the dead center of this mess we'll have to just wait and watch as it chews her up and spits her out inevitably. What an embarrassment to have the whole country watch too, poor girl. I truly feel bad for her she has no idea what she got herself into.
